Work is continuing on “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” production in the UK with new photos and video emerging of two large outdoor sets being built for the production.
As the project is set in an alternate 1960s-esque retro-futuristic universe, one of the sets shows what has been suggested as being this Earth’s alternative version of Times Square complete with a massive old school TV, cars and smaller shopfronts.
Also visibile is the massive Excelsior launch pad which sits next to the Baxter Building and is still being worked on.
“The Fantastic Four: First Steps” stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.
Ralph Ineson, Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne and Julia Garner are also on board the film which “WandaVision” creator Matt Shakman directs from a script by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.
“The Fantastic Four: First Steps” will open in cinemas on July 25th 2025.
