Disney has unveiled the first official look at Glen Powell as Chad Powers in his upcoming Hulu series “Chad Powers”. The photo arrives after several pap photos of filming went online this morning.

Ordered to series in February, the project has just begun production ahead of airing sometime next year. Powell and Michael Waldron co-created the series, co-wrote the pilot and executive produce.

In the series, bad behavior nukes hotshot quarterback Russ Holliday’s (Powell) college career. So, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers.

Steve Zahn, Toby Huss, Perry Mattfeld, Wynn Everett, Frankie A. Rodriguez, and Quentin Plair co-star in the series based on a character created by Eli Manning for his EPSN+ docuseries “Eli’s Places.”

Manning will also executive produce along with his brother Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Adam Fasullo and Ben Brown.

Powell is coming off a strong run of the past eight months or so with the success of “Anyone But You,” “Twisters” and “Hit Man” – the latter of which he co-wrote.
