BioWare has finally confirmed the release of “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” with the title coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 31st.
The title marks the fourth major installment in the franchise a full decade after the third, “Dragon Age: Inquisition,” arrived and won various game of the year honors.
The new game sees Rook and his companions battling corrupt Elven gods and fight for the future of Thedas.
The news comes as reaction to the trailers thus far haven’t been great with a lot of criticism and concern about the quality of the title, though this trailer seems to be getting the best reception thus far and feels more akin to past “Dragon Age” games than any of the other trailers.
The standard edition of the game will cost $59.99 on PC and $69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The Deluxe Edition will cost $79.99 on PC and $89.99 on PS5 and Xbox. That version includes various weapon and armor cosmetics .
Whichever edition you get, players will get the Blood Dragon Armor set for the Warrior, Mage, and Rogue classes.
