Monarch: Legacy of Monsters
Legendary Entertainment has begun production on the second season of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” in Queensland, Australia – dubbed the biggest series ever to be shot in the State.

The second season is expected to generate more than AUD$115 million for the Queensland economy. “Kong: Skull Island” and the two “Godzilla vs. Kong” films were also shot in Queensland. [Source: Inside Film]

Die, My Love
LaKeith Stanfield is in final negotiations to star with Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson in filmmaker Lynne Ramsay’s new thriller “Die, My Love”.

Set in a remote forgotten rural area, the story follows a mother who struggles to maintain her sanity as she battles with psychosis. Ramsay also co-wrote the script with Enda Walsh while Martin Scorsese will produce. [Source: Deadline]

Grotesquerie
FX has officially announced a September 25th premiere date for “American Horror Story” creator Ryan Murphy‘s newest horror drama “Grotesquerie” starring Niecy Nash-Betts.

Courtney B. Vance, Lesley Manville, Micaela Diamond and NFL star Travis Kelce co-star in the series in which a series of heinous crimes have unsettled a small community. A detective and a nun/journalist and find themselves teaming up and soon ensnared in a sinister web. [Source: FX]

A Very Royal Scandal
Prime Video has released first-look images for the miniseries “A Very Royal Scandal” starring Michael Sheen as Prince Andrew and Ruth Wilson as journalist and BBC anchor Emily Maitlis in the story of the infamous “Newsnight” interview.

Julian Jarrold (“The Crown”) directs from a script by Jeremy Brock (“The Last King of Scotland”). The series premieres on the service on September 19th. [Source: Amazon]
