The White Lotus
Actors Walton Goggins and Patrick Schwarzenegger have confirmed that the third season of HBO’s “The White Lotus” has completed production in Thailand ahead of a return to the air in 2025.
Carrie Coon, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Sam Nivola, Sarah Catherine Hook, Aimee Lou Wood, Scott Glenn, Lalisa Manobal and more co-star in the new season of Mike White’s series.
The news comes as “The Simpsons” executive producer Al Jean confirms one of that show’s upcoming episodes “The Yellow Lotus” makes fun of the series. [Source: X]
Fire Country
Former “Supernatural” and “Walker” star Jared Padalecki has scored a three-episode arc on the third season of CBS hit drama series “Fire Country” – the series averages more than 10 million viewers per episode in multi-platform viewing.
Padalecki plays Camden, a SoCal firefighter and maverick with a surfer swagger who is a force to be reckoned with and immediately recognizes Bode’s (Max Thieriot) raw talent. [Source: Variety]
Arcane
Netflix has released another clip from the second and final season of its “League of Legends” universe-set animated series “Arcane” which returns in November. The clip follows Ella Purnell’s Jinx/Powder as she gets caught by crime lord Smeech.
Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions and the power that will tear them apart.
Hysteria
Peacock has premiered the first trailer for its new horror series “Hysteria!” which premieres October 18th and will be simulcast on USA Network and SYFY. Julie Bowen, Bruce Campbell, Garret Dillahunt, Anna Camp and more star.
The story follows a struggling 1980s high school heavy metal band of outcasts who try to capitalize on the town’s sudden interest in the occult. A bizarre series of murders and ‘supernatural activity’ triggers a witch hunt that leads directly back to them.
