By Disney and Pixar used its D23 presentation this morning to officially announce that a third “Incredibles” movie is in the works.
Brad Bird will return to direct the project which was first rumored several months ago. In addition, the company released an official logo for the film which you can see below.
That’s not all though. The studio also showed off the first concept art from “Frozen 3,” along with the film’s logo. They indicate the question of why Elsa has powers and Anna doesn’t will be answered in the film.
They also confirmed the sad news that “Frozen 3” has been delayed to 2027, but teased the good news that a fourth one just might be on the way.
It was one of several animated announcements. Also revealed was “Hoppers,” the company’s new original film in 2026 which involves a girl who switches minds with beavers in an effort to learn more about the creatures.
Jon Hamm will voice the Mayor trying to destroy the beaver’s home in the feature. The first concept art from it and new concept art from sci-fi film “Elio” were also released.
Finally, the studio announced that Ke Huy Quan will voice a new reptile Gary in the upcoming “Zootopia” sequel, whilst Zoe Saldana has joined the voice cast of “Elio”.
