The Diplomat
Netflix has announced an October 31st release date for the second season of its acclaimed Keri Russell-led political drama “The Diplomat”. The new season sees Allison Janney joining the cast as Vice President Grace Penn.
Also returning are Rufus Sewell, David Gyasi, Ali Ahn, Rory Kinnear, Ato Essandoh, Celia Imrie, Michael McKean, Nana Mensah, T’Nia Miller, and Miguel Sandoval. [Source: Netflix]
Inside Out 2
Disney and Pixar have announced an August 20th digital and a September 10th disc release for “Inside Out 2” – the title hitting digital just over two months after its cinema run and disc around three months after.
Bonus features include a behind-the-scenes documentary on the creation of the film and the inclusion of new emotions into the movie, multiple deleted scenes, and an alternate opening. [Source: Disney]
Hold Your Breath
Searchlight Pictures has set an October 3rd Hulu premiere date for the Dustbowl-set psychological horror thriller “Hold Your Breath” starring Sarah Paulson.
The film unfolds in 1930s Oklahoma as a woman (Paulson) is convinced that a sinister presence is threatening her family. Annaleigh Ashford, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Amiah Miller, and Bill Heck co-star while Will Joines and Karrie Crouse co-direct. [Source: Searchlight]
Tell Me Lies
Hulu has debuted the trailer for the second season of its steamy drama “Tell Me Lies” which premieres on the service on September 4th. The romance drama follows a tumultuous and intoxicating relationship over the course of eight years.
The season begins with both returning to college and not speaking after their dramatic breakup. The fallout however impacts all of their lives in unexpected ways. Grace Van Patten and Jackson White co-star.
