Five full episodes of the second and final season of Netflix’s animated series “Arcane” have reportedly leaked online well ahead of the show’s November premiere date.
The leak comes just a day after Netflix reportedly suffered a major security breach which saw episodes of multiple anime shows due this Fall also illicitly ending up online – including “Terminator Zero,” “Dandadan” and “Ranma ½”.
Like those leaks, these episodes boast burnt-in time stamps, watermarks and post-production annotations.
The leak is seen as a major blow for “League of Legends” fans and show creators as the first season scored immense acclaim as one of the best video game adaptations of all time.
Though the multiple Emmy-winning show is ending with the upcoming season, those involved have been planning to do further series set within the “League of Legends” universe. Such a leak could potentially jeopardise those plans.
The final season sees Piltover and Zuan rallying their forces for an all-out war following Jinx’s attack on the council. Caitlyn Kirraman and Vi have been tasked with apprehending Jinx, dismantling shimmer manufacturing facilities, and neutralizing devotees of Silko.
The second season of “Arcane” launches in November – three years after the first season released on the service.
