A new TV spot for “Alien: Romulus” has been released, this one putting the focus on the xenomorphs themselves and giving away at least two deaths in the process.
The film sees a group of young space colonizers scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, in the process coming face-to-face with the most terrifying life form in the universe.
The clip shows plenty of action with the full creatures along with brief facehugger and chestburster scenes, and one shot with multiple full-sized xenomorphs running towards the camera.
As the film is set between the events of “Alien” and “Aliens,” it would suggest someone has been experimenting with the creatures in the time period between the movies.
Fede Álvarez directs and Ridley Scott produces the film which stars Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn and Aileen Wu.
“Alien: Romulus” will be released in U.s. theaters and IMAX on August 16th.
