By This week sees the release of the romantic drama “It Ends with Us,” a film adaptation of the acclaimed 2016 Colleen Hoover novel starring Blake Lively, Brandon Sklenar and Justin Baldoni.
The film follows a woman who overcomes a traumatic childhood to embark on a new life in Boston and chase a lifelong dream of opening her own business. But the promising beginning of a new romantic relationship quickly turns into something abusive.
Projections have the film opening at over $30 million and one that could potentially be something of a challenger of sorts for Marvel Studios’ “Deadpool & Wolverine”.
In an amusing video released through his social media channel, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds sits down with Sklenar for a five minute press junket interview.
In the clip Reynolds, Blake Lively’s real-life husband, interrogates Sklenar who is Lively’s on-screen love interest in the movie. Things go even further though when Reynolds’ mother and Hugh Jackman get involved.
Baldoni directed the film, based on a screenplay by Christy Hall, with the title opening August 9th.
