Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash and Teyana Taylor will join Glenn Close and Kim Kardashian in the legal ensemble drama “All’s Fair” for Hulu.
Hailing from executive producer Ryan Murphy, the series sees Close starring as the head of an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. Close scored raves for her work years ago playing a memorable lawyer on the legal drama “Damages”.
Further details of the new series are under wraps aside from Kardashian playing a divorce lawyer. Watts, Nash, Paulson, Close and Kardashian will all executive produce.
Halle Berry was also linked to the series but dropped out of the project due to a scheduling conflict. Reportedly none of the new castings are replacing her, instead new roles are being written for the new actors.
The title was also one of five shows set to receive a share of $58 million in tax credits from the California Film Commission and will shoot for a little over three months in California.
Murphy serves as writer, director, and executive producer which marks the first series to be announced under his new overall deal with Disney following his Netflix deal ending.
Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Jamie Pachino, Lyn Greene and Richard Levine also serve as writers and executive producers. Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson and Holly Jeter also executive produce for 20th Television and Ryan Murphy Television.
