Until Dawn
Asad Qizilbash, the head of PlayStation Productions, has confirmed that the film adaptation of the PlayStation video game “Until Dawn” had begun filming.

David F. Sandberg directs the project based on Supermassive Games’ title which is getting a remaster later this year. [Source: Twitter]

Killing Gawker
Gus Van Sant, who previously directed “Good Will Hunting” which kick started Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s careers, will re-team with the boys on the “Killing Gawker” film at their Artists Equity label.

Based on Ryan Holiday’s book, the project deals with Hulk Hogan’s successful lawsuit against gossip site Gawker. Affleck play Hogan and Damon his controversial Silicon Valley businessman backer Peter Thiel. Charles Randolph (“The Big Short”) penned the script. [Source: The InSneider]

Untitled J.J. Abrams Project
Jenna Ortega is in talks to join Glen Powell in a new J.J. Abrams-directed film at Warner Bros. Pictures and Bad Robot. The project was penned by Abrams and specifics of the story and even genre are under wraps. [Source: THR]

Par for the Course
Quinta Brunson and Stephanie Hsu will lead the comedy film “Par for the Course” which Seth Rogen produces. Plot details are under wraps. Brunson and “Abbott Elementary” writer Justin Tan will co-write the film and Tan will direct. Brunson and Alex McAtee will also produce. [Source: Variety]

Shrinking
Apple TV+ has released a brief concept teaser for the second season of its comedy series “Shrinking” which returns October 16th. Harrison Ford, Jason Segel, Jessica Williams, Christa Miller, Lukita Maxwell, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, and Ted McGinley return.

The series follows a grieving therapist (Jason Segel) who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks, and finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives…including his own.
