Saban Films has premiered the trailer for filmmaker Kevin Smith’s new coming-of-age comedy “The 4:30 Movie” which is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on September 13th.

Set in the summer of 1986, the film follows three sixteen-year-old friends who spend Saturdays sneaking into movies at the local cineplex.

When one of the guys invites the girl of his dreams to see an R-rated film, hilarity breaks loose as a self-important theater manager and teen rivalries interfere with his best-laid plans.

The cast includes Austin Zajur (“Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”), Nicholas Cirillo (“Outer Banks”), Reed Northrup (“High Maintenance”), and Siena Agudong (“Resident Evil”).

There’s also plenty of cameos from Adam Pally, Kate Micucci, Diedrich Bader, Rachel Dratch, and Ken Jeong, to various Smith regulars like Rosario Dawson, Jason Biggs, Jason Lee, Justin Long, Harley Quinn Smith and Jason Mewes.

Smith pens and directs the film executive produced by Shanan Becker, Bill Bromiley, David Gendron, Ali Jazayeri, Daniel McGilvray, Ernest O’Donnell, Jonathan Saba, and Viviana Zarragoitia.
