Azrael
A September 27th theatrical release date for the Samara Weaving-led action horror thriller film “Azrael” has been confirmed following Shudder and IFC Films acquiring the North American rights.
E.L Katz directs the film about a young woman held captive by a mysterious, devout community who plan to sacrifice her to pacify an evil that resides deep within the surrounding wilderness. But she will stop at nothing to ensure her own freedom. [Source: Shudder]
Teacup
Peacock has released a teaser trailer for its gory eight episode horror-thriller series “Teacup” based on Robert McCammon’s bestselling novel.
The project hails from “The Conjuring” director James Wan, who will serve as an executive producer alongside showrunner Ian McCulloch, and premieres October 10th. The series will air as double episodes weekly through to Halloween.
The story follows a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive. Yvonne Strahovski, Scott Speedman, Chaske Spencer, Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre, and Luciano Leroux star.
Found
NBC has premiered the trailer for the second season of its recent hit “Found”. The new season launches October 3rd.
The second season sees Mark-Paul Gosselaar’s Sir, the child kidnapper the show’s lead Gabi (Shanola Hampton) had been keeping prisoner in her basement, having gotten free and fled. He’s now coming after her and everyone she loves.
