Amazon Prime Video has announced that it has ordered the series “Vought Rising,” a prequel to “The Boys” which will see the return of Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and Aya Cash as Stormfront.
The news was announced at the show’s Comic-Con panel where Ackles made an appearance in person on stage at Hall H. Cash also appeared via video when the new series was revealed.
Set in the 1950s, the series takes place in New York City and will track the “humble yet diabolical” beginnings of Vought. Cash appeared in the second and Ackles in the third season of the main “The Boys” series.
