“Basic Instinct” and “Casino” star Sharon Stone is set to play the main villain in the upcoming “Nobody” sequel at Lionsgate and 87North.
Bob Odenkirk returns for this follow-up to the 2021 action feature in which he played a mild-mannered family man who is secretly a former government assassin. Plot and character specifics of the new entry are under wraps.
Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto (“May the Devil Take You”) is set to direct from a script by Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Odenkirk and Umair Aleem.
Made on a budget of $16 million, the first film grossed over $57.5 million worldwide and scored very positive critical reviews.
Odenkirk, Kelly McCormick and David Leitch are producing alongside Marc Provissiero and Braden Aftergood.
Stone is coming off more recent TV work on shows like “Ratched” and “The New Pope”. “Nobody 2” is set for an August 15th 2025 theatrical release.
