By Netflix has released the first full clip from the upcoming second and final season of its highly acclaimed animated series “Arcane”.
The clip follows in the wake of the trailer for the new season, which dropped last month, along with the reveal of the new season being the show’s last with no plans to continue or spin off the show.
Riot Games has said two seasons was always the plan for “Arcane”, with an endpoint for the story being planned from the start of development. That said, new works based on the world of “League of Legends” seem a certainty.
The final season will deal with the aftermath of Jinx’s attack on the Council, which sets the stage for a dire escalation of the conflict between Piltover and Zaun.
The clip shows Yordle scientist Heimerdinger trying to sneak back into his own laboratory as a confused Ekko tags along. The series retains the celebrated animation style of the first season.
The new season of “Arcane” will hit the streamer in November.
