By Adult Swim just wrapped up the second season of its animated series “My Adventures with Superman” and with it, Warner Bros. Animation confirmed season three has already begun production.
A brief animated bumper was added to the end of the show’s second season finale that confirms work is already well underway on the next season with Clark, Lois and Jimmy all set to return.
They’ve gotten to it fast, as the renewal order for the next season was only handed out a month ago – with news of that breaking during the Annecy International Animation Festival.
The core trio of actors are expected to return including Jack Quaid as Superman/Clark Kent, Alice Lee as Lois Lane, and Ishmel Sahid as Jimmy Olsen. How many of the second season’s additions like Lex Luthor (Max Mittelman), Brainiac (Michael Emerson) or Supergirl (Kiana Madeira) is not clear.
Adult Swim is also celebrating the second season’s end with a special new marathon of the entire season on Saturday, July 27th starting at midnight on Toonami. All episodes of the second season are currently available to stream via Max.
