Freaky Friday 2
Disney has released the first official photo of Chad Michael Murray reprising his role of Jake in the upcoming “Freaky Friday” sequel currently in production.

Murray joins fellow returnees Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis in the follow-up to the 2003 body-swapping comedy in which he played Lohan’s love interest. The film will be released in 2025. [Source: Disney]

Superman
“The Boys” and “Star Trek: Lower Decks” star Jack Quaid, who voices Superman already in the animated series “My Adventures with Superman,” confirms he auditioned for James Gunn’s “Superman”.

He says: “I didn’t get very far at all. I put myself on tape, and it went nowhere, and that’s fine.” He’s very happy with the choice of David Corenswet whom he did a pilot with several years ago, a pilot that “never went anywhere”. [Source: Happy Sad Confused]

The Prince
Simon Rex, Wayne Brady, Inanna Sarkis, George Newbern, Beverly D’Angelo, Paul Cassell and Courtnee Carter have officially been set to join the cast of the upcoming David Mamet-penned drama film “The Prince”.

The film chronicles the outrageous story of a drug-fueled power broker on a tumultuous odyssey through the high-stakes world of power and on a transformative journey toward recovery. Nicolas Cage, J.K. Simmons, Giancarlo Esposito, Andy Garcia and Scott Haze star while Cameron Van Hoy directs. [Source: Deadline]

Nightbitch
The first photos have been released of Amy Adams in the upcoming comedy horror “Nightbitch”. Adams plays stay-at-home mom who slowly becomes convinced she’s turning into a dog. Actress-filmmaker Marielle Heller helms the film which is currently scheduled to release on the Netflix service on December 6th.
