Paramount Pictures has premiered the first official clip from “Transformers One,” the first-ever fully CG-animated “Transformers” movie.
The sneak peek, unveiled at the 2024 Kids’ Choice Awards tonight, sees a seen with several characters racing away from other robots shooting at them – and transforming for the first time into vehicles.
Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree Henry lead the voice cast as Optimus Prime and Megatron respectively. The film explores the untold origin story of the pair, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.
The voice cast also includes Scarlett Johansson as Elita, Keegan-Michael Key as Bumblebee, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime, Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion and Steve Buscemi.
The film is directed by Josh Cooley with a script penned by Andrew Barrer, Steve Desmond, and Gabriel Ferrari. Lorenzo di Bonaventura produces the animated film which could serve as the start of a potential trilogy.
“Transformers One” is slated for a nationwide release on September 20th.
