Marvel Studios has premiered the teaser trailer and first poster for its first 2025 film entry – “Captain America: Brave New World”.

The project marks the fourth film in the “Captain America” series, and the first to see Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson taking over the mantle from Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers. It also serves as a continuation of the television miniseries “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”.

Directed by Julius Onah, who co-wrote the script with Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson, the film also stars Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Shira Haas, Giancarlo Esposito and Harrison Ford.

Ford takes over the role of Thunderbolt Ross from the late William Hurt in the film, in this case he’s now the U.S. President and the trailer confirms the character’s transformation into Red Hulk with a brief glimpse of the character seen.

“The Incredible Hulk” stars Tim Blake Nelson and Liv Tyler will also be reprising their roles as Marvel villain Samuel Sterns/Leader and Betty Ross, 15 years after the Edward Norton-led film’s theatrical debut.

“Captain America: Brave New World” is scheduled to be released in cinemas Valentine’s Day 2025.
