Hulu has premiered the official trailer for the twelfth season of long-running animated sci-fi comedy “Futurama” with the revival set to return on July 29th.
In the new season, our occasionally heroic crew embarks on mind-bending adventures involving birthday party games to the death and the secrets of Bender’s ancestral robot village.
There’s also episodes dealing with A.I. friends (and enemies), impossibly cute beanbags, and the true 5 million-year-old story behind the consciousness-altering substance known as coffee.
Finally comes the next chapter in Fry and Leela’s fateful, time-twisted romance.
The episodes mark the back ten episodes of the original twenty episode Hulu order. The series has already been renewed for another twenty episodes taking it through to 2026.
Created by Matt Groening and David X. Cohen, the series features the voices of John DiMaggio, Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr, and David Herman.
