By Ten months after they launched the first teaser, Netflix has finally premiered the final trailer for the animated “Harley Quinn” spin-off series “Kite Man: Hell Yeah.”
The ten-episode adult animated comedy revolves around lovable loser Kite Man and his new squeeze Golden Glider as they moonlight as criminals to support their foolish purchase of Gotham City’s seediest dive bar.
It’s a place where everybody knows your name, but not necessarily your secret identity. Matt Oberg will lead the voice cast as Kite Man and Dean Lorey will serve as showrunner.
Also lending their voice are Stephanie Hsu, Kaley Cuoco, Keith David, Natasia Demetriou, Jonathan Banks, Judith Light and Janelle James.
Executive producer Justin Halpern says that if “Harley Quinn” is basically “The Mary Tyler Moore” show with a psycho killer as its lead character, “Kite Man” is essentially “Chees” but for supervillains.
Cuoco, Sam Register and Patrick Schumacker also executive produce the series which will arrive July 18th.
