What a time for the site to break down! The new Superman suit was revealed in full from a collection of set pics. This is like the glory days of internet movie fandom! Next thing we know, Boba Phil will be getting banned from Skywalker Ranch and I will cynically turn to Buddhism to deflect from an embarrassing misdemeanor.
Full steam back to the early noughties… choo choo!
Anyway, we are therefore even later to this news than usual. After Warner Bros. Pictures only teased the suit via an image of a seated Kal-El, some other images were leaked from newspaper front pages used as props on the set of the movie.
These are full-color, full looks at the new Man Of Steel coming direct from filming in Cleveland. They show Corenswet in full costume and in broad daylight.
There is bright color. There are trunks. There is a belt and there is yellow. There is an “S” on the back of the cape. The lack of those things was much criticized when Henry Cavill’s suit was first revealed all those years ago. The suit also matches the style from several of the more heavyweight modern Superman comics, and some video games.

James Gunn directs Superman, and it will wrap filming at the end of the summer ahead of a 2025 release. Now… about that score…
