Filming is continuing in Cleveland on James Gunn’s “Superman” film and further shots have emerged from the set including very blurry photos of David Corenswet in full costume which were part of Daily Planet newspaper props on the set itself.
The shots confirm trunks, and have a shot of the actor stopping a train. In addition the text reportedly includes an Anton Arcane mention. Click here at DCU Updates to see the photos.
Other set photos over here of blue screen staging suggest an alien ship landing outside the Daily Planet office at some point.
The Wives
Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in and produce the murder mystery “The Wives” at Apple Original Films. Justine Ciarrocchi, Jeremy O. Harris and Josh Godfrey will also produce. Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley will pen the script which will reportedly draw inspiration from the Real Housewives reality franchise. [Source: Variety]
Oscars
Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences President Bill Kramer says he is ‘exploring’ the idea of having a gender-neutral Oscar categories. He tells Variety: “We are exploring this topic with our awards, membership, equity, and inclusion committees and soon with our Board of Governors. It’s in the early exploration stage and one of many conversations about the future of awards and the Oscars.”
Three Daughters
Netflix will release Azazel Jacobs’ family drama “His Three Daughters,” starring Natasha Lyonne, Carrie Coon and Elizabeth Olsen, in select theaters on September 6th before hitting Netflix globally on September 20th. Jovan Adepo, Jay O. Sanders, Rudy Galvan, Jose Febus and Jasmine Bracey co-star. [Source: Variety]
