By Donald Sutherland has passed away at the ripe old age of 88. From The Dirty Dozen to Kelly’s Heroes, M*A*S*H, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Animal House, Ordinary People, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Space Cowboys, Backdraft, and the Hunger Games series is just scratching the surface.
His pedigree is second to none and he could go from folksy laid back hippie to deadly serious leader to unhinged psychopath without skipping a beat. He will be missed. It was announced by his son Kiefer today:
