The lack of a weekend isn’t slowing down Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” box-office at all.

The Pixar sequel debuted to $155 million domestically and $295 million globally on the weekend, and hasn’t stopped powering forward since.

On Monday it took in $22.2 million domestically, the second best post-launch Monday for a Pixar film to date. On Tuesday it increased to a haul of $29.1 million – a record for an animated movie.

Today is Wednesday in the U.S., the Juneteenth holiday, with the film headed for a near $30 million take.

That would be the third highest Wednesday for an animated film behind only “Despicable Me 2” at $35 million and “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” at $31.7 million – the caveat being both those films opened on said Wednesday.

By end of Wednesday, the film could already be up to $235 million domestically even before its first full week of business is over.

“Bad Boys: Ride or Die” is also expected to see an uptick on Wednesday with a further $5 million which would take its domestic total to $125.6 million. It’s charting only 2% behind its predecessor “Bad Boys for Life” at the same point in its release.
