Doctor Who
Following this past weekend’s ‘Part One’ of a two-part season ender, The BBC is set to launch a new “Tales of the TARDIS” episode highlighting Sutekh’s original appearance in 1975 serial “Pyramids of Mars”.

Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson have shot new bookend scenes for the franchise one-off which recuts the four-part serial into a film complete with remastered effects. The episode airs on BBC Four at 8PM on June 20th alongside a BBC iPlayer release. [Source: BBC]

The Lost Leonardo
Julianne Moore is set to star in a scripted series based on the 2021 documentary “The Lost Leonardo” in development at Studiocanal, The Picture Company, Entertainment 360 & Zaftig Films.

Moore will star as Dianne Modestini, an art restorer who saw something special in a crumbling painting and painstakingly restored it. The painting fetched $450 million at auction. [Source: Deadline]

Totally Spies
Amazon MGM Studios is developing a live-action TV series based on the early 2000s Banijay Kids classic French animated series “Totally Spies” with Will Ferrell to executive produce.

The live-action series will follow best friends Clover, Alex and Sam as they navigate saving the world as international spies while trying to survive the ups and downs of first-year college life. No writer or cast is yet set. [Source: Amazon]

Stranger Things
Jamie Campbell Bower, who played villain Henry Creel/Vecna in the fourth season of Netflix’s smash hit supernatural series “Stranger Things,” says the currently in production fifth and final season goes even further than before.

Appearing on iHeart’s I’ve Never Said This Before (via THR), the actor says: “If you thought last season was nuts, this season is just out of control, wild, like it’s bonkers. It really, really is. It’s bigger. It’s just completely insane. It’s completely insane… just continually building.”
