Though the show’s second season is still in the midst of airing, Adult Swim’s animated series “My Adventures With Superman” has landed a third-season renewal order.

Warner Bros. has confirmed the Cartoon Network series is coming back for a third season. Attendees at the Annecy International Animation Festival this week were the first to hear the announcement.

It’s believed the core trio of actors-characters will return including Jack Quaid as Superman/Clark Kent, Alice Lee as Lois Lane, and Ishmel Sahid as Jimmy Olsen.

The currently rolling out second season explores more of the Clark and Lois’ relationship, and delivers this version of Amanda Waller.

Several major villains from the superheroes pantheon are introduced this season including Lex Luthor (Max Mittelman) and Brainiac (Michael Emerson). Clark’s cousin, Supergirl, will also arrive.

The cast has indicated in previous interviews they’d like to stick to voicing the cartoon as long as it’s reasonably possible.
