PADDINGTON IN PERU brings Paddington’s story to Peru as he returns to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears. With the Brown Family in tow, a thrilling adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and up to the mountain peaks of Peru.
I was wondering when the trailer for this movie was going to come out. Like many out there, I love the Paddington movies, especially since the carry such a cinematic charm to them that makes fun to watch as well as endearing at the same time. The preview for this upcoming project looks quite promising, with the adventure for this latest installment showcases plenty of family fun throughout from the story and the cast is up to the task. Perhaps the biggest sad part of this movie is that it isn’t going to be directed by Paul King, with directorial duties being passed on to Dougal Wilson, who makes his directorial debut with this movie. King is still involved on the project, with credit given to him for writing the story of the feature, yet I do wonder what how this will affect the movie…good or bad. In the end, I am very much excited to see this movie and what this third Paddington film will bring about.
