Dwayne Johnson and his Seven Bucks Productions company have signed a first-look deal with The Walt Disney Company.
The multi-year agreement will see Johnson and producing partner Dany Garcia develop films for theatrical and streaming platforms.
Johnson will potentially star in the projects. The deal also allows Seven Bucks to collaborate across multiple Disney divisions.
Johnson and Disney have worked together before on the “Moana” animated films, the theme park ride-inspired “Jungle Cruise,” and 2009’s “Race to Witch Mountain”.
Disney’s ESPN is also a broadcast partner for the pro football league which is owned in part by Johnson and Garcia.
Disney and Johnson are teaming again shortly for the live action “Moana” remake set to open July 10th 2026.
