Studio Canal has confirmed that the first trailer for the third “Paddington” film, titled “Paddington in Peru,” will go online tomorrow.

A brief clip making the announcement has been released and can be seen below. The release comes just under five months ahead of the film’s planned opening.

The new film brings the bear’s story to Peru as he returns to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears.

With the Brown Family in tow, a thrilling adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and to the mountain peaks of the country.

Sally Hawkins previously dropped out as Mrs. Brown and will be replaced by Emily Mortimer. Ben Whishaw is back as the voice of Paddington alongside Hugh Bonneville, Julie Walters, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin and Carlo Tous.

Veterans Jim Broadbent, Olivia Colman and Antonio Banderas also star whilst Imelda Staunton will voice Aunt Lucy. Dougal Wilson helms the project which was shot on location in London, Peru and Colombia.

“Paddington in Peru” will first hit the UK on November 8th and unroll over several months before arriving in U.S. cinemas on January 17th 2025.
