The Seven Dials Mystery
Mia McKenna-Bruce (“How to Have Sex”) will play the lead role of Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent in Netflix’s new series adaptation of Agatha Christie’s “The Seven Dials Mystery” which hails from “Broadchurch” creator Chris Chibnall and films this Summer.

Additionally, Helena Bonham Carter and Martin Freeman have been cast as Lady Caterham and Superintendent Battle, respectively. The series follows a country house mystery that ultimately has ties to a secret organisation. [Source: Variety]

Olympics
For the first time in Olympics history, this year’s Paris Summer Games will be screened in movie theaters. Over 150 IMAX theaters will live broadcast the opening ceremony on July 26th.

Additionally 160 AMC Theatres across the U.S. will be screening select live daytime coverage from NBC each day through August 11th. Each ‘screening’ is expected to run for four hours each day. [Source: Deadline]

The Legend of Vox Machina
Amazon Prime Video has set an October 3rd premiere date for the twelve-episode third season of “The Legend of Vox Machina”. The season will release in three-episode blocks starting that week, check out the opening sequence below:

In the third season, the Chroma Conclave’s path of destruction spreads like wildfire while the Cinder King hunts down Vox Machina. The lovable band of misfits must rise above inner (and outer) demons to try and save their loved ones, the Tal’Dorei republic — and all of Exandria.

The Decameron
Netflix has set a July 25th premiere date for its soapy period dramedy “The Decameron” which hails from “Teenage Bounty Hunters” creator Kathleen Jordan and Jenji Kohan.

Tony Hale, Zosia Mamet and Saoirse-Monica Jackson star in the dark comedy set in the year 1348 when the Black Death strikes Florence. A handful of nobles retreat with their servants to a grand villa to wait out the plague and a scramble for survival ensues.
