By A24 has premiered the full trailer for “Maxxxine,” the third film in Ti West’s trilogy that began with “X” and “Pearl” which both released to acclaim in 2022.
The story unfolds in Los Angeles 1985 and follows Maxine Minx (Mia Goth) after the events of “X” as the sole survivor.
She’s now an adult film star and aspiring actress who finally gets her big break. As a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.
Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon co-star.
The project boasts the biggest cast of the film series, with West once again back to write and direct. The new project was first teased with an end credits trailer on “Pearl”.
Jacob Jaffke, West, Goth, Kevin Turen, and Harrison Kreiss produce the film which hits cinemas on July 4th.
