Sony Pictures and Marvel Entertainment have released the first trailer and poster for the upcoming third and seemingly final “Venom” film “Venom: The Last Dance”.
The story sees Eddie and Venom on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.
The third “Venom” began production in late June last year in Spain but was halted within a few weeks due to the actor’s strike. Worked resumed in November and wrapped only about two months ago.
Boasting a budget of over $110 million, the film also stars Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Peggy Lu, Stephen Graham, Rhys Ifans, Alanna Ubach and Clark Backo. Michelle Williams doesn’t appear and so may not be back for this final round.
Kelly Marcel, who wrote the previous two films, pens and directs this third outing which seems bigger in scale than either of the previous ones.
Sony Pictures Releasing has set “Venom: The Last Dance” for October 25th with plans for an IMAX and big screen release everywhere.
