Production is continuing on James Gunn’s “Superman” film with the shoot now moving to LaGrange, Georgia where one property is standing in for the Kent Farm in Smallville, Kansas.
The first photos from the location have gone online and show at least part of the property where Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell’s Pa and Ma Kent will live and no doubt Clark (David Corenswet) will visit at some point in the film.
Gunn also took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes photo with himself alongside co-stars Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner), Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen).
Also posing in the shot are Gunn film regular Mikaela Hoover who likely has a small role, and Christopher McDonald – not to be confused with the “Happy Gilmore” star of the same name.
Gunn revealed the first look at David Corenswet in his Superman outfit a few weeks ago with reaction somewhat varied. The film will also star Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher and likely Milly Alcock as Supergirl.
Filming on the project began on February 29th and is expected to continue through to August – so far things seem to be progressing as planned with the film on track for a July 2025 release.
