The second half of the seventh season of Starz’s “Outlander” has set its premiere date with the eight-episode run to kick off November 22nd. An eighth and final season consisting of ten episodes is currently in production, as is a prequel series. [Source: Starz]

Life on Our Planet
Netflix has handed out a green light for the ‘next iteration’ of its Emmy-nominated documentary series “Life on Our Planet”. Morgan Freeman is set to return as narrator, Steven Spielberg as executive producer and Lorne Balfe as composer.

This will tell the story of the rise and fall of the dinosaurs including “where they came from, why they mattered, how they evolved and how they met their ultimate fate.” Like with ‘Life,’ ILM will be handling the visual effects. Nick Shoolingin-Jordan will direct. [Source: Deadline]

The Vince Staples Show
Netflix has renewed its comedy “The Vince Staples Show” for a second season following the five-episode first season releasing on February 15th. Staples stars in the series in a fictionalized version of his life with Vanessa Bell Calloway and Andrea Ellsworth in recurring guest star roles. [Source: Variety]

Pachinko
Apple TV+ has announced an August 23rd premiere date for the second season of its period multigenerational tale “Pachinko” based on Min Jin Lee’s bestselling novel. The multiple award-winning series is created and written by Soo Hugh who serves as executive producer.

Lee Minho, Minha Kim, Anna Sawai, Yuh-Jung Youn, Jin Ha, Eunchae Jung, Soji Arai, Junwoo Han, and Sungkyu Kim star in this sweeping story of love and survival across four generations.

The Acolyte
With “The Acolyte” all set to premiere this Tuesday, Lucasfilm has released another TV spot for the High Republic-set “Star Wars” series.

Early reaction to the series from those who’ve seen it has been unanimously positive, but reviews aren’t expected to arrive until the launch date.
