Netflix has premiered the trailer for the romantic-comedy “A Family Affair” which sees a re-teaming of “The Paperboy” stars Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman.
In the film, a surprising romance kicks off comic consequences for a young woman (Joey King), her widowed mother (Nicole Kidman) and her self-absorbed movie star boss (Zac Efron).
The trio face the complications of love, sex, and identity. Along the way are misunderstandings, embarassing moments and some genuine heart.
Liza Koshy, Kathy Bates, and Shirley MacLaine co-star in the film which hails from filmmaker Richard LaGravenese (“P.S. I Love You,” “Beautiful Creatures”) and written by Carrie Solomon,
The film was shot back in mid-2022 and was supposed to release last November but the actor’s strikes postponed it.
“A Family Affair” debuts June 28th only on Netflix.
