By Still more names are joining the cast of Rian Johnson’s upcoming third “Knives Out” film titled “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery”.
The latest to hop onboard are veteran actresses Glenn Close and Kerry Washington. They join the previously announced Andrew Scott, Josh O’Connor and Cailee Spaeny.
Daniel Craig is returning as detective Benoit Blanc in a new murder mystery with a yet-to-be-disclosed setting and a colorful array of suspects.
Johnson has indicated this will again of a different sub-genre of the murder-mystery format but it’s not clear what kind or influences it will have.
Johnson and Ram Bergman are producing the film for Netflix which is slated to begin production in early June in the United Kingdom.
Netflix forked out more than $450 million for a pair of “Knives Out” sequels with the first released in 2022 and this new one aiming to arrive late 2025.
