Danny DeVito has spoken some more about his plans for an on-screen reunion with his “Twins” and “Junior” co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The “Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star popped up on the red carpet for the Chris Pine-directed “Poolman” earlier this week and told ET Online that movement is happening on his and Arnold’s film:
“We really want to work together and we’ve been talking about it for quite a while. We’re onto something now, we have a script being written. As soon as that comes in, we’ll know better. But we’ll do it at Warner Brothers.”
He wouldn’t give details on what the project, but separately he spoke with Deadline and suggested a rough timetable, saying: “Arnold and I love working together, we’re going to do a movie together next year and we’ve been working on it.”
Talk of the pair reuniting have gathered steam following their Super Bowl commercial for State Farm together and an appearance together on stage at the Oscars.
Earlier this year DeVito spoke about re-teaming with Arnold in the near future, but again at that time played it coy about what it would be beyond it being funny and fitting for the two actor’s chemistry.
