A couple of trailers launched today of note.
First, Netflix has released a new trailer for its animated “Ultraman: Rising” film which hits the service on June 14th.
It follows baseball superstar Ken Sato who returns home to Japan to pick up the mantle of Earth-defending superhero Ultraman and finds himself forced to raise the offspring of his greatest foe.
Second is “MoviePass, MovieCrash” – a new documentary ut the meteoric rise and swift collapse of film subscription service MoviePass.
Muta’Ali directs the untold story behind the company and how the original founders were cast aside by execs who seized control and ultimately drove it to bankruptcy.
Then there’s the first trailer for “Crawl” director Alexandre Aja’s new horror thriller “Never Let Go” starring Halle Berry. It hits cinemas on September 27th.
Berry plays a mother who, along with her twin sons, has suffered from the torment of a malicious spirit for many years. However, when one of the boys starts to doubt the existence of the evil, the family’s sacred bond is broken.
Finally, Sony Pictures has released the trailer for the Blake Lively-led romance drama “It Ends With Us” based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling 2016 novel.
Lively plays a woman who falls for her friend’s neurosurgeon brother Ryle and whose childhood sweetheart Atlas re-enters her life. It hits cinemas on August 9th.
