By A couple of trailers today, starting with Amazon MGM Studios releasing the trailer for the Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell-led comedy “You’re Cordially Invited”. Witherspoon plays a woman planning her sister’s (Meredith Hagner) perfect wedding. Ferrell plays the father of a young bride-to-be (Geraldine Viswanathan).
They soon discover they have double booked for their destination wedding at a remote resort on an island off the Georgia coast. When both parties decide to share the small venue, chaos ensues.
Jimmy Tatro, Stony Blyden, Leanne Morgan, Rory Scovel, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Ramona Young, Jack McBrayer and Celia Weston co-star. Nicholas Stoller pens and directs the film which will launch January 30th 2025 on Prime Video.
Next comes “Longing,” a new family drama starring Richard Gere, Diane Kruger, and Suzanne Clément. It follows a man who discovers that he had a son who has already passed away. As he attempts to learn more about his deceased child, as he meets the young man’s girlfriend. It arrives in cinemas on June 7th.
Finally, Republic Pictures has released a trailer for its Chris Nelson-directed comedy mystery film “Reunion” which will release digitally on June 28th. Lil Rel Howery, Billy Magnussen, and Jillian Bell star in a story of twists and turns where a high school reunion gets cut short by murder.
Trapped in a snowbound mansion, they race to uncover which one of their old classmates is the killer before they’re all iced out for good. Jamie Chung, Michael Hitchcock, with Nina Dobrev, and Chace Crawford also star.
