Viewer response to Amazon’s Prime Video’s “Fallout” TV series has been immense, becoming the streamer’s second-biggest series ever worldwide release after sixteen days of release.
In the United States, it’s the top according to third-arty ratings giant Nielsen. The show recorded 2.9 billion minutes of viewing time in the U.S. over its first five days in the just released report by Nielsen for the week of April 8th-14th.
That’s easily the best opening for a series on Prime Video, beating “Reacher” in early 2022 which pulled in 1.84 billion minutes.
The series also had more than double the second-place listed title on the list for the week – “Bluey” at 1.39 billion minutes which includes the first day of its special episode release “The Sign”.
Netflix unscripted series “Unlocked: A Jail Experiment” and the fifth season of “Star Trek: Discovery” also made the top ten. “Wish” was the top streaming movie for the week.
“Fallout” is available in full on Prime Video with the show already renewed for a second season.
