The upcoming “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” series will reportedly arrive on Disney+ just in time for the Christmas season.

Collider reports that Jon Watts, the recent “Spider-Man” trilogy director who serves as creator/showrunner on “Skeleton Crew”, confirmed to them at CCXP that “Skeleton Crew” is aiming for a December launch.

The story will follow four kids as they navigate a dangerous galaxy in search of their way home. Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, and Robert Timothy Smith play the kids.

Jude Law and Kerry Condon also str in the series which Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy compares to classic Amblin tales, saying it’s about kids but not necessarily a kids show.

Directors of episodes include Watts, David Lowery (“The Green Knight”), The Daniels (“Everything Everywhere All At Once”), Jake Scherier (“Thunderbolts”), Lee Isaac Chung (“Minari”) and Bryce Dallas Howard (“The Mandalorian”).

It will follow six months on from “The Acolyte” which will launch on June 4th. The animated “Star Wars: Tales of the Empire” series launches this Saturday.
