Though it has been captured already in set photos, Empire Magazine has now released a new official look at Anthony Mackie in his new Captain America outfit for the new Marvel Studios film “Captain America: Brave New World”.
After donning a quite different, white-winged version of the suit seen at the end of “Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” Mackie can be seen in a more traditional Captain America-style outfit for the new film.
Unlike the Rogers version of the character, this one doesn’t have superpowers and so as director Julius Onah says that makes it more interesting: “this is a guy who can break, this is a guy who can bleed. We get to have a lot of fun pushing him to the limit”.
Onah co-wrote the script with Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Shira Haas and Harrison Ford take over the role of General Thunderbolt Ross from the late William Hurt.
In addition, “The Incredible Hulk” stars Tim Blake Nelson and Liv Tyler will also be reprising their roles as Marvel villain Samuel Sterns/Leader and Betty Ross, after 15 years since the Edward Norton-led film’s theatrical debut.
Shooting recently wrapped on the project which will open July exact year.

‘The action in this movie is incredibly exciting because this is a guy who can break, who can bleed,’ he tells Empire.
