M. Night Shyamalan is back with another thriller full of twists, but this time, it’s from the point of view of a killer, who is well…stuck in a Trap.
The trailer starts with a father (Josh Harnett) and daughter (Ariel Donoghue) attending a concert together in what appears to be a fun and exciting time.

But, something is amiss, and the police presence and cameras have him wondering what’s going on. We find out from an employee that they are trapping a killer known as the butcher who was rumored to be attending.
In M. Night Shyamalan fashion, we soon see Harnett’s character grow uncomfortable, but the reason why speaks to something more, as he checks on the person he has hostage in his home.
Harnett’s facial expression shifts from joyous to nervous to downright sinister by the trailer’s end, giving the audience a tease of what should be a menacing good time.
Trap will be released in theaters in the US on August 9th and stars Josh Harnett and Ariel Donoghue and is written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan.
