Described as an “origin story” set on the planet Cybertron, the film will center on the relationship between Optimus Prime and Megatron going from brothers-in-arms to enemies.
I was wondering when a trailer for this movie would be coming out. The live-action Transformers movies have been quite the “hit or miss” with many being considered mindless blockbuster endeavors. I remember first hearing about this project a little awhile back and that it was going to feature a new voice Prime and it was going to be animated. Soon after that, it was revealed that it was going to be an origin tale for Optimus and Megatron and few others, which does sound interesting. From the preview alone, it looks like to be a little bit lighter than what I was expecting, with more slapstick humor and jokes. However, the action looks promising. Overall, I’m interested to see this movie and what it brings to the Transformers mythos of its cinematic representation.
