Steve Buscemi has joined the cast of the second season of “Wednesday” at Netflix reports Variety.
According to their sources, Buscemi will play the new principal of Nevermore Academy who is appointed in the wake of Gwendonline Christie’s shapeshifting Larissa Weems exiting.
Further character details are being kept under wraps.
Very few details about the new season of “Wednesday” are available aside from Jenna Ortega returning as the Addams Family daughter.
The first season ended with Wednesday successfully solving a series of grisly murders while also thwarting an attempt to destroy Nevermore and its students.
It ranks as one of the most-watched shows the streamer has ever released and won four Emmys. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar serve as co-showrunners and executive produce alongside Tim Burton.
The production of the series is shifting from Romania to Ireland for its second season with filming scheduled to begin this month.
