The time to fight has come as Netflix releases the official trailer for the second half of director Zack Snyder’s sci-fi epic Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver. View trailer below.
REBEL MOON — PART TWO: THE SCARGIVER continues the epic saga of Kora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a newfound homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld. On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. Totally forgot to post this trailer a few weeks back when it was originally released. I still have to release my review for the first movie, which I will be posting in a few days. So, please to check that out. Like many out there, I was hoping that Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire was going to be a sprawling and visually stunning sci-fi epic from Snyder’s creative mind. However, it felt like a bloated and underwhelming cinematic experience, with too much derivate ideas that makes it hard to discern itself from similar projects. This preview for The Scargiver, the second half of Rebel Moon, looks a bit more promising, especially as it plans to bring a close to the story and connecting the dots to a few lingering questions. However, I’m very leery about this movie and have a lot of doubts about it. In the end, I’m not quite sure what I might think of The Scargiver. I certainly always hope for the best, but, more probably than not, I will be expecting the worst. Only time will tell….
Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver is to be released on Netflix on April 19th, 2024
