It has been a busy day for several release date updates.
A report at Deadline indicates Francis Ford Coppola’s highly anticipated “Megalopolis” is set to get a “big fall IMAX release” this year, finally giving us a release window for the movie.
Next, Oscar-winning “Everything Everywhere All At Once” directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert have set their next film at Universal. The currently untitled ‘event film’ will release in cinemas on June 12th 2026.
Fathom Events have announced they will be hosting a select number of screenings for the upcoming horror sequel “Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2” on March 26th and March 28th. More information is on the Fathom site.
Searchlight Pictures has announced a date for “The Greatest Hits,” a Lucy Boynton-led music romance movie with a time-travel twist which hits cinemas on April 5th and debuts on Hulu on April 12th.
GKIDS has announced an April 5th in New York and April 12th in Los Angeles release for “Chicken for Linda!,” the hand-painted animated dramedy which opened in French cinemas in October last year.
Finally, in home streaming news, Hulu has set SVOD premiere dates for a pair of major Oscar contenders – the much lauded “Anatomy of a Fall” will be coming March 22nd whilst the Emma Stone-led “Poor Things” arrives March 7th.
